Are pork bones safe for dogs?
Pork bones are safe for dogs, but make sure to choose pork bones that are raw and have been through our air drying process. Air dried pork bones reduce the risk of splintering, whilst retaining all the fantastic flavour and nutrients.
Our pork bones are long-lasting and suitable for small, medium and large dog breed sizes. Being single ingredient, they are safe for dogs with allergies and are grain and gluten free for easy digestion.
Puppies can also enjoy our pork bones, although we recommend only serving to dogs aged over 4 months.
Can dogs eat cooked pork bones?
No, dogs should not eat cooked pork bones. Cooked bones can become brittle which increases the risk of splintering, causing potential digestion issues for your dog. Make sure when choosing bones for your dog, you always use 100% natural, raw bones from manufacturers such as T.Forrest.
What are T.Forrest's pork bones made from?
Our roasted pork bones are 100% natural. There are no additives or preservatives, meaning our pork bones are taken directly from the pig femur. Pig femur bones are safe for dogs and are a fantastic treat for all breeds.
